The Fan Inlet Box is an indispensable matching component for industrial fans,widely installed at the inlet of induced draft fans,forced draft fans and primary air fans in thermal power plants,industrial boilers,cement plants and flue gas treatment systems.It acts as a transition connector between flue ducts and fan bodies,mainly designed to adjust airflow direction,optimize flow field and stabilize operating conditions.With professional aerodynamic structure,it effectively solves the problems of turbulent flow and uneven air distribution during gas delivery,laying a solid foundation for the long-term stable operation of fans.
This product adopts an integral all-welded steel structure.The main body is made of high-quality carbon steel or heat-resistant alloy steel according to different working temperatures,featuring high structural strength,excellent vibration resistance and strong durability.Inside the box,scientifically arranged guide vanes are equipped to smooth out disordered airflow and avoid swirling flow.The overall flow channel is designed with gradual transition to greatly reduce airflow resistance and pressure loss.Reinforced flanges are set at both connecting ends for tight connection with pipelines.Sealed access doors are reserved on the shell for daily inspection and internal maintenance.Drain holes are also arranged at the bottom to discharge condensed water and accumulated dust,preventing impurities from entering the fan interior.
In actual operation,the flue gas or air flowing through the pipeline enters the inlet box first.Under the rectification of internal guide vanes,the airflow changes direction steadily and forms uniform and orderly axial flow.The optimized flow state enables the gas to enter the fan impeller evenly,which lowers fan vibration,cuts running noise and reduces abnormal wear of blades and bearings.Different from simple pipe elbows,the fan inlet box balances flow velocity across the entire section,effectively improving the overall working efficiency of the ventilation system.
