The Coal Feeder Knife Gate Valve is a specialized industrial control valve tailored for pulverized coal feeding and conveying systems, extensively utilized in thermal power generation, coal chemical processing and building material industries. Different from conventional rotary discharge valves, this valve features a slim knife-shaped gate structure, which is professionally designed for cutting off, throttling and isolating dry pulverized coal, fine coal ash and other powdery granular materials. It serves as a vital on-off and safety isolation device for coal feeder pipelines, ensuring the controlled operation and emergency cut-off of pulverized coal delivery systems.
The overall structure of the coal feeder knife gate valve is simple, compact and highly practical, mainly composed of a valve body, wear-resistant knife gate disc, elastic sealing assembly, driving actuator and guide positioning mechanism. The valve body adopts integrated casting or high-precision welding technology, with high structural rigidity and pressure resistance, adapting to the complex pressure conditions of coal conveying pipelines. The core knife gate is made of high-hardness wear-resistant alloy materials, which can effectively cut through piled pulverized coal and avoid material jamming during switching. In actual operation, the valve is driven by electric, pneumatic or manual actuators to realize linear opening and closing strokes. When the coal feeder operates normally, the gate fully opens to ensure unobstructed and stable flow of pulverized coal. When equipment maintenance, pipeline inspection or system failure occurs, the gate quickly descends to completely cut off the coal material flow and isolate the upstream and downstream pipeline systems.
