The Flue Gas Non-Return Valve is an automatic one-way protection component specially designed for flue gas duct systems. It is widely installed on exhaust pipelines of thermal power plant boilers, industrial furnaces, cement production lines and flue gas treatment facilities. The core function is to ensure unobstructed forward delivery of flue gas, and instantly block gas backflow once fans or main equipment stop operating. It effectively prevents high-temperature flue gas, dust and harmful fumes from flowing backward, so as to protect boilers, induced draft fans and related pipeline equipment from damage caused by reverse airflow.
This valve adopts a sturdy fully welded steel structure, which is tailored to adapt to harsh operating environments featuring high temperature, heavy dust and slight corrosiveness. The valve frame is made of high-quality carbon steel or heat-resistant alloy steel, with enhanced structural strength to resist pipeline vibration and airflow impact. The internal swing blades are designed with streamlined contours to reduce flow resistance and cut down system energy consumption. Matched with precision hinges and adjustable counterweight assemblies, the blades operate flexibly without jamming. High-temperature resistant sealing materials are fitted around the contact surfaces, achieving excellent tightness and effectively suppressing gas leakage after full closure.
The whole device operates automatically relying on airflow pressure, gravity and counterweight, requiring no external power, electric actuators or manual control. During normal system operation, forward flue gas pressure pushes the blades to open, allowing smooth gas passage through the pipeline. When the fan shuts down or system pressure drops suddenly, the forward airflow disappears. Under the combined action of gravity and counterweight, the blades close rapidly and tightly, completely isolating the pipeline channel. This reliable one-way interception avoids equipment overheating, dust deposition and operational faults caused by flue gas refluence.
With a simple and compact mechanical structure, this non-return valve boasts stable performance and a low failure rate. Key components are wear-resistant and high-temperature resistant, supporting long-term continuous service. Daily maintenance is minimal, only requiring regular visual inspection of blades and sealing parts. It is available in round and rectangular types to match different specifications of flue ducts, and features convenient on-site installation.
As a standard safety accessory for flue gas conveying systems, the Flue Gas Non-Return Valve guarantees the safe, stable and efficient operation of the entire exhaust system. It has become an indispensable part for power, metallurgy, chemical and environmental protection industries.
