The Boiler Flue Check Valve is a dedicated automatic one-way protection device for boiler flue gas duct systems. It is mainly installed on the exhaust pipelines of thermal power plant boilers, industrial coal-fired boilers and supporting flue gas treatment equipment. Its primary function is to ensure smooth one-way delivery of flue gas during normal operation. Once the induced draft fan stops or the boiler system shuts down, it can quickly cut off the pipeline passage to prevent high-temperature flue gas, smoke and dust from flowing backward. This effectively protects boilers, fans and downstream facilities from damage caused by reverse airflow, and maintains the safety and stability of the entire flue gas system.
This check valve adopts a heavy-duty all-welded steel structure to adapt to the harsh working conditions of boiler flues, including long-term high temperature, dense dust and continuous airflow impact. The valve body frame is made of high-quality carbon steel or heat-resistant alloy steel with reinforced design for excellent structural rigidity and vibration resistance. The internal swing blades adopt a streamlined design, which effectively reduces airflow resistance and helps lower the operating load of ventilation equipment. Equipped with precision hinges and adjustable counterweight mechanisms, the blades move flexibly and will not get stuck after long-term operation. High-temperature resistant sealing strips are installed at the contact positions of blades and frames, achieving superior sealing performance and minimizing gas leakage when fully closed.
The whole device works automatically depending on airflow pressure, gravity and counterweight, without any external power supply, electric actuators or manual intervention. When the boiler and fan run normally, forward flue gas pressure pushes the blades to open, and flue gas flows through the pipeline unimpeded. When the system stops running, the forward airflow disappears instantly. Driven by gravity and counterweight, the blades close rapidly and tightly, forming a reliable isolation barrier. It avoids equipment overheating, dust accumulation and operational failures resulting from flue gas backflow.
Featuring simple mechanical structure, stable operation and low failure rate, this product requires only regular routine inspection and has very low maintenance costs. It is available in circular and rectangular types to match various standard flue ducts, and the overall structure is compact for easy on-site installation and replacement.
As a standard safety accessory for boiler flue systems, the Boiler Flue Check Valve has been widely applied in thermal power, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement and other fields. It is a reliable choice to guarantee the long-term safe operation of boiler and flue gas conveying systems.
