The Three-dimensional Expansion Indicator is a professional mechanical safety monitoring instrument exclusively developed for high-temperature boiler systems and thermal power plant pipeline equipment. It is designed to accurately detect, track and visually display three-axis thermal expansion displacement of critical boiler components, including steam drums, headers, water wall manifolds and main steam pipelines throughout the whole working cycle of cold start, temperature rise, full-load operation, variable load adjustment and shutdown cooling. As a fundamental monitoring device for thermal power units, it effectively guarantees the operational safety and structural stability of high-temperature pressure piping systems.
Manufactured with heavy-duty carbon steel frame, high-temperature resistant alloy connecting rods, flexible universal joint transmission mechanisms and high-precision engraved scale panels, this three-dimensional expansion indicator features outstanding structural rigidity, strong vibration resistance and excellent environmental adaptability. The equipment operates on precise mechanical synchronous tracking principles. Before boiler commissioning, operators complete cold-state zero calibration to establish an accurate fixed reference datum. During boiler heating and operation, high-temperature pipelines and pressure components generate natural thermal expansion and produce micro displacements in horizontal, vertical and axial directions. The built-in three sets of independent pointer structures synchronously follow the component movements and display real-time displacement data clearly on standard millimeter scales. Engineers and operators can directly observe and record expansion values to judge whether thermal deformation is within the design allowable range.
This three-dimensional monitoring solution effectively eliminates potential safety hazards such as pipeline stress concentration, structural extrusion, weld cracking, pipe deformation and steam leakage caused by abnormal expansion or blocked displacement.
