The Flue Gas Desulfurization Baffle Valve is a professional anti-corrosion and high-tightness pipeline control device specially developed for FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) systems in thermal power plants, industrial boilers and metallurgical exhaust systems. Different from ordinary flue valves, this valve is uniquely optimized for humid sulfur-containing flue gas, acid mist corrosion, low-temperature condensation and high-dust working conditions. It undertakes core functions of desulfurization system flue gas switching, pipeline isolation, unit switching and airflow regulation, ensuring safe start-stop, independent overhaul and stable operation of desulfurization equipment. It is an indispensable key component in wet desulfurization, semi-dry desulfurization and flue gas purification systems.
Structurally, the desulfurization baffle valve adopts a high-rigidity integral frame and reinforced blade structure to adapt to long-term negative pressure operation of FGD systems. The optimized fluid dynamic design effectively reduces flue gas resistance and avoids ash accumulation and condensation on the blade surface. The sealing system adopts multi-layer anti-corrosion high-temperature resistant soft sealing structure, which can maintain stable tightness in humid and acid-containing flue gas environments. It effectively solves the common problems of ordinary dampers, such as seal aging, corrosion failure and increased leakage after long-term operation. The precise transmission linkage ensures synchronous and stable blade operation without jamming, even in high-humidity and dusty flue pipelines.
Equipped with a high-reliability electric or pneumatic actuator, the valve supports remote automatic control, 4–20mA and 0–10mA stepless regulation, as well as on-site manual emergency operation. It can realize flexible switching between desulfurization operation bypass and main flue pipeline. During normal system operation, the valve adjusts flue gas volume to stabilize desulfurization efficiency. When single-unit overhaul or system switching is required, it can be fully closed to achieve complete isolation, preventing corrosive sulfur-containing flue gas from flowing back into standby pipelines and protecting downstream equipment and personnel safety.
In terms of material configuration, the valve body is made of high-quality carbon steel with integral anti-corrosion lining or stainless steel material, featuring excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance and condensation corrosion resistance. All rotating shafts, bearings and fasteners are made of specialized anti-rust and anti-corrosion alloy materials to adapt to long-term erosion of sulfur oxide flue gas and acid mist. The overall structure adopts anti-ash and anti-condensation design, which effectively avoids blockage and structural corrosion caused by damp flue gas deposition, realizing long-term maintenance-free and stable operation.
In summary, the Flue Gas Desulfurization Baffle Valve integrates anti-corrosion performance, ultra-low leakage isolation and stable regulating capability. It is professionally customized for harsh FGD working conditions, overcoming corrosion, aging and leakage defects of conventional flue dampers. With excellent environmental adaptability and system matching performance, it provides reliable safety guarantee for stable operation, unit switching and equipment maintenance of industrial flue gas desulfurization and purification systems.
